I don't think so - inventors make a thing that does something, while entrepreneurs try to make money off providing a product or a service. The inventor would have to start mass producing his/her "things" and sell them for profit to be considered an entrepreneur.

An entrepreneur is someone who is trying to make a profit. They could be selling services, products, information, intellectual property (music, movies, etc), or anything really. I believe inventions fall into this category.

But not all inventors are trying to make a profit. Some just want to make the world a better place or help the environment. So I would say not all inventors are entrepreneurs, but some are.

They can be. An inventor is someone who comes up with a novel idea and makes it. However, an entrepreneur is someone who invests and takes a risk on producing and making money on an idea. Some inventors may try to be entrepreneurs, but others may try attracting other entrepreneurs and selling their idea to them.

not necessarily. If you can start a business, organization, agency, etc, you may be considered an entrepreneur. An inventor who invents and does not produce it, is not an entrpreneur.

Not necessarily, but they can be. If a person just invents, that's not entrepreneurial as such. If a person invents, develops, and markets, that would definitely be an entrepreneur.

as an inventer and someone who knows them many inventions never make it to market because inventers are not buisness men they just make things people can use and expect to let everyone use it. their motivation isn;t money it's making things for people.
