It will connect in a wi-fi hot spot but the ev-do will stick its big fat nose in and interrupt...why? I have Sprint if that makes a difference.

Since you can't take out the card...You might have one of the versions without the EV-DO disable button. If so, you need to go into the Sprint store (pain!) and have them flash or add that options. People were pissed about this with the first units because for some people who have a limited data plan, sprint wanted ways to CHARGE the hell out of you so you ended up upgrading to the unlimited data plan.

Did you remove your EvDO card? If so, disable EvDO. If not, take it out and put your WiFi card in (Or leave it empty)
