Instantly Faded
Both those bands are...probably as underground as your going to get. You can find both of them on purevolume. The Outside Inn is pretty much just rock, and Instantly Faded is screamo.

Assorted Jelly Beans, The Adicts, Graveyard BBQ (you can only get their music from their website), Wolfmother (although there are becoming popular), NoFX (A band that none of my friends have heard of, although I don't know about YOU guys), and Bluefox (which is actually my band and your probably never gonna see them on iTunes or anything, but keep the lookout!)
That's about everything I can tell you off the top of my head. I'll probably think of more later.

Makeshifte- Alternitive band from my city (houston)

well try a band caled Social Distortion , out of orange county CA... the singer mike ness is the only original member left.. and he still rocks on ... and if you have any more questions on rock or punk rock music,,, hit me back,,,

Acidplanet.com has a WHOLE lot of underground ,and garage bands.They are really great at keeping fresh talent around!
