I am a mom... which means I am a home assistant manager, a teacher, (since I homeschool the kids), I am and interior designer, since I constanlty redecorate (and I have an architecture degree to help with that) I am a home finance advisor and accountant, I am a chef, a nanny, a painter (I got that skill - as in professional painting skill, too) I am a doctor, a psychologist ( BA in Psych) and a nurse, the cleaning lady, the laundry lady, I am a taxy -mom, police officer sometimes when I play detective with my kids, a wife and a partner, I am NEVER bored!
Every now and then I'd like to have just one job, eat and g to bed... anybody want my job???

Ok.. I just wanted to list everything under the category "MOM" or HOUSEWIFE but I think I left a few things out...

I'm like a door technician. I work on door hardware, such as cylindrical and mortise locks. Plus panic bars, door closers, and other kinds of hardware that comes with doors. I actually lucked into the job. I work in a carpentry shop and the boss needed someone to do the quick and snappy jobs, so I volunteered. It turned out I wasn't too bad at it, and I pretty much am self-taught. I like it, because I get different jobs and they can be either easy or challenging.

I am an archival specialist. I chose this profession because I couldn't find any openings for an inexperienced Brain Surgeon!

Automotive Cosmetic Paint Specialist

Use to be a Human Resource Mgr & Trainer for a large corporation and one day almost everyone below me said I should be in cars by how I kept my own, the passion showed they said.

So I quit my corporate job and became a basic detailer. Learned from the ground up. Been trained by the best in body shop, certifed in just about every car Manufacturer there is, taught body shop and cosmetics for awhile. Had a high tech shop for a few years. Ask to be head of east coast training by a major automotive paint company along with doing outside scientific work and problem solving for them. 15 yrs later and I am considered a specialist when it comes to paint, finsh, and cosmetic repairs for at least a 6 state area. Never worked for the goal or title....it just all came natural to me and its where I ended up.

When I started I had hoped for at least $15 an hour. I ended up about 5 times that. I get to set my own hours, get to be outside, total freedom and the ability to be creative and to make money from it. Would never trade it for a time card.

Where else can I do as I please, create as I please and get paid for it?

I would not call it a profession, but I work for a clothing wholesale company. I do the returns. I like it ok. The pay sucks. But we have good work hours.

I know you from somewhere.....

Anyway back to the question, I am a self-employed internet retailer, started out as a hobby and realised there was some money to be made in it if I did a bit of research and it paid off! Loving it!
