Some say that engineering jobs are rapidly being outsourced to China and India. What jobs in the engineering field are the ones to go?

The outsourced jobs are call center IT jobs, and those are mostly technicians. They suck.

It would be impossible to outsource the "hands on" engineering positions, such as environmental, mechanical, civil, electrical and chemical.

In the future???? what about right now?! It is happening there are a lot of consultant work performed, by people in India, in engineering as we speak even performing projects, anything that doesn't require the presence of the professional on the field, I don't know about China
