Legally blind man got mugged and as a result of the beating his brain was highly damaged. He will not make it and the family wants to donate his organs or his blood. The police states this can't be done, because the body belongs to a criminal investigation? What can be done. Please, if anyone knows let me know. Please! It's what he would have wanted, and his family would have a better sence of closure this way. Please help. Thank you.

find out if any of his organs is a match for someone else and if it is would the police stop you from saving someone else.
