well the reasosn my sister is upset is that she has to go get her 12 year old physical monday and she is scared the d octor will make her take her undies off she is kinda uncomfortable taking them off in front of my mom.. i dont know why but do the make them get naked in virginia????????

i doubt it, tell her to tell the doc that she feels really uncomfortable doing that, she doesnt have to do that if she dont want to, i am a virginia resident my self.

I just got a physical i'm 14 and when I was her age and got one the doctor just kinda pulled my pants and looked down there and down my bra not taking it off so it's more private,tell her to relax and mabey if she has to do that u distract your mom get her out of the room some how,good luck 2 u both!

From what I can gather from your post and what the doctor is going to do, if your sister has been having sex the doctor can tell by doing an examine and they do this in all states here in the USA and if he finds out she has been having sex, your mom will be informed of this. That could be why she is balling her eyes out. Your mom needs to know what her baby is doing that she has no business doing. This is just what I am reading from your post.

A. Healthy male thing. Explain to your dad (If you have a dad) about the tape, not your mom. It might be awkward, but your dad will probably take charge and take the tape away, no questions asked. If your mom is the only one there for you.. tell her about it (Although it's awkward) and say that your sister got a tape of it. Your sister might be young, but it's never right for somebody to tape something like that. - Sarah

She doesn't have to take her clothes off in front of her mother. There is a little changing thing in the room. Her mother has to be present during the procedure it is the law.

Is it just a physical or is it a gynocologist exam. In a physical they don't, nut they might have her take her bra off. In my physical they didn't make me. They just checked my pulse, breathing, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, my walking, and my spine. Thats all. Now if she's having a gynocologist exam of course she will. I hope I could help♥

It's up to the doctor, no matter what state you live in, but if it's not a gynecological exam, she probably won't have to.
Tell her to breath in through her nose and out through her mouth slowly and deeply, and remember that no one likes to have a physical but everyone has to have them, and it will be over quickly.

it's routine physical. i had to do this too. no big deal. i didn't even know i had to do this but the doc said it's part of the physical.
they check for stuff like disease. have her talk to your mom about this. and she will have a female doctor when this happens.
routine physical.

i dont think they make them do that in ANY state, unless you're seeing a special doctor for that......why is your sister upset about takin them off in front of her mother? what about the doctor?

tell her to talk to ur mom about it, tell her that she feels she is old enough to do it alone now, and she would be more comfortable if ur mom waited outside. It should be fine

tell her at physicals atleast in nj they only sometimes ask you to take your shirt off. wouldn't she be afraid to take them off in front of the doctor?
