Honesty
Separate from Big Oil Money
A good personality with class
Care for the environment
Care for all classes of people
Care for individual rights
Care for the constitution
If religious, someone who uses religion to help guide morals, but not as an excuse to hate, berate, or isolate others (didn't mean to have such a rhyme!!! lol)
Attention to security of the nation
Concern for the world's nations and people
A true concern for veterans who have served our great country
Really, someone who is for the best interest of Americans, not just rich Americans, not just poor Americans. And someone who makes the US look good. In a global economy and with international relations, you *have* to have someone eloquent, intelligent, and diplomatic. Without that, the other nations will never respect us again.

A candidate that is willing to work with both sides, is willing to realistically deal with the immigration problem, will help reduce the National Debt, will be strong on defense, will fund education, create a work program for those on welfare to get off of welfare, will allow an alternative fuel to enter the market, and someone I feel I can believe.
I will not look at the following issues: abortion, gay marriage, estate tax, and prayer in school. I will leave these issues to the people that don't care enough about America to see what the real problems are.

I would liek to see a president looking to the future, not the present.
I better explain. Being a studnet planning on being a teacher, and having parents who are terachers, I would like to see a president who will work hard to improve and focus on education in the USA.
Oh, and when he says bush bashers not allowed, he isn't saying don't answer, he just wants comments that arn't bush bashing and targeting anti-bush ideas. Share what you want, not the complains about what you have.

Right now I think the most important feature they could have is the will to bring the nation back together. This polarizing is only going to lead people to hate each other more and more and that is not in the spirit of our nation. Liberals and Conservatives need to get along cause we both need each other even though we may not want to admit it. There seriously needs to be a balance, and right now it is way out of wack. They need to rise above those who have been corrupted by the corporations and endless greed. They need to tell us the truth, and not manipulate us through the media. Finally they need to lay out a new plan for America, cause this one just isn't working for us, it's tearing us to pieces.

I would like to see someone who has:
The economic ability of George, Jr. and Clinton
The charisma of Reagan
The unilateral support of FDR
The integrity of Mother Theresa
The foreign policy strength of Nixon
The international respect of Margaret Thatcher
The desire to better the lives of typical Americans of Jeb Bartlet (West Wing) and Andrew Shepard (The American President).
I know those last two were fictional, however the characters had qualities I would look for.

I pray it truly is a Democrat so one can see some socail subject matters treated and under no circumstances purely killing ones. i love Hillary, i'm purely no longer positive the boy's club will let her accomplish some thing. (and likely!! there's a boy's club in each and every interest that a lady takes! purely ask my ex who after 2 months of employment took my interest of two yrs and became making $a million better an hour than me)
