I just realized that my mother left me some stock in Dial Corp (the company that makes soap) and after doing research, I found out they were bought out by a German company called "Henkel". Would my shares be transferred to their company and if so, what's their symbol?

They bought Dial for cash. So you wouldnt own shares in Henkel. You would be entitled to cash for your shares. You can probably contact Henkel investor relations to find out about your shares.
