Germany invaded a larger are than Rome. Is Bratwurst and other sausage that popular too? War does change the culture of the invaded but it doesn't shape a civilization unless that civilization is based on war.

Unfortunately, war has lead to some of greatest achievements of man.
Without the Civil War, we wouldn't know as much as we do about emergency medical care as we have learned.
Without WW1, there's no telling how long it would have taken us to understand blood transfusions.
And there's the technical and scientific benefits.
I'm not saying war is a good thing, but it does seem to be the constant state of man.
Pizza, however - a good pizza is in the mind of the beholder.

war is a tool used by the elite who actualy run the world! btw pizza came from china not rome! rocket put it this way. war is a taker of life! thinning of the population and is science in the way it allows new technology to be built and used! so id have to answer yes to your question!

Soldiers brought pizza back from OUR invasion of Europe in WWII. Sure, it was around before then, but it was a lot different and not nearly as popular.

No - for an enlightened world where enlightened leaders facilitate change in other ways.
