Get your clothes tailored and they will you perfectly, its not expensive and would be well worth it to show off your waist.

Im about a 12 in vest tops and 8- 10 on the bottom I usually go for size 10 dresses but try a 12 you will prob get away with it especially if its a dress!! If it looks to baggy at the bottom buy a nice belt to accessorize with. If that fails buy a dress thats made if nice material that perhaps is a little stretchy? Try a few on... Good luck, PS River island do some nice dresses x

I am not sure about Uk sizes--- i am american.. however in theri sizes i am a 0 on the bottom and a 4 up top( their sizes run RIDICULOUS). anyway, i just buy things that can be worn looser, or that specifically accomadate my bust. that means nothing with a specific seam signifying the end of the bust area fo the garment, and all i can say is go ito the dressing room adn try it on. sometimes i will go up evne towsizes for the bus but then wear pants or another skirt beneath the dress as a layer---with fills out the bottom. Good /luck!!

I used to suffer with this problem, I was a size 14 on top ( damned boobies!! ) and a 10 waist.I never used to wear a dress, but I would try a 10, or 12 if it's a bit baggy in the middle take it in.

You could try a 10. But always try on different sizes until you find the one that fits you best. I have the reverse - 8 on top but a 10 butt. I always try on different sizes until i find the one that fits best. Good luck and happy shopping!

Go for a 12 and, depending on the dress, wear a belt or take the waist in

I don't think size is your problem, but the type of dress to buy. If you buy a wrap dress you could adjust it to your smaller waist, and you can buy these anywhere at the moment. Get one with a big tropical pattern or if you're more shy then a plainer one. Try topshop at the mo, my friend tried on one there at the weekend...hope this helps

Only you know what feels most comfortable. Many people are a different size top and bottom. It's because we are women and not planks.
Just try things out and see what fits you best!

why a dress, why dont you get a matching colour top and skirt, that will create a dress look. that way it'll look good.
By the look of you picture to the left you look like your into gothic stuff. im thinking a black bodice top with a sort of black gypsy style skirt and sexy sandals to match.
