sure, why not. people can change dramatically over a year, let alone 15 years. and it's not like you're leaving yourself open to be hurt again, you're just going to be friends.

It depends on whether you're seeing someone now. If you are, then having this person as a friend can only lead to bad things such as jealousy.

You can be friends with a ex if you both know the rules. Talk with her and let her know you don't want romance. Let her know you want her for a friend. If she can not go for that ,then move on with your life without her.
