I propose that we treat the problem like one big oil spill. The world cleans up the mess. The U.S. triples its troops. Every other country in the world provides a significant amount of troops. We blanket the place with soldiers. Baghdad - 7000 soldiers per square Kilometer, minimum. We don't let anyone kill each other. Drastic steps, but I'm talking maybe 5 million troops from all over the world shoving peace down their throats. The troops stay till the killing ends. Agree or Disagree?

First of all the largest number of those 7000 soldiers would probably be americans, we should be trying to get our troops home not send more over. Secondly, you can't "shove" peace down peoples throats. They want it or they don't. Right now it seems they don't, and the longer we keep a presence there, the longer Iraq will expect us to take a large role in keeping thier country safe.

So the troops stay indefinitely then? Unfortunately, establishing a democratic government is not the be all and end all of the violence. The factional fighting has become ridiculous! The Sunni/Shi'ite fighting has actually been going on for centuries! I don't see the troops of the world stricking it out that long to be honest.

I disagree. As long as people have nothing to lose, they will do drastic things in the name of religion, country, tribe, whatever. People are essentially hedonists, so I think it would be better to airdrop consumer electronics, used cars, designer clothing, home depot gift cards, etc. all over. If they now have something to lose, then the fighting would end. That's why we don't have sectarian violence in America.

You look to have forgotten the mass graves, the football field that for thirty years became used as an section for be-heading human beings, the individuals who were no longer allowed to fasten their doorways at evening so as that Saddam Hussain's son and his thugs ought to are available any time they needed and drag fathers and sons out to be killed or moms and daughters raped. You look to have forgotten preparation camps for terrorists the position human beings were educated for no different reason yet to kill as many non-muslum human beings as they could, everywhere in the international, the mummy and dad that raised their babies to grow to be suicide bombers, the automobile bombs, etc. etc. etc. How unhappy that you've forgotten (or not in any respect had an oz.. of compassion for )those who've to stay lower than a monster who ought to manage his own those who way. He became the weathy, grimy little coward that our troops got here across hiding in a 'spider hollow'. keep in techniques? Do you keep in techniques the individuals of Iraq flattening the statue of Saddam Hussain and dragging the right of it by the streets? you imagine the Bush administration brought concerning the horror and chaos over there? the position have you ever been the previous 5 years? And please do not dishonor our troops by making it sound like they're to stupid to understand why they're there. They recognize precisely why they're there and what's extra they're doing a very commendable job. we ought to continuously all thank God that we nevertheless have adult men and ladies those who're courageous sufficient to 'VOLUNTEER' to flow do a very nasty, risky job that extremely needs to be finished, instead of sitting homestead on their butts whining and criticising. possibly this very last team are those who ought to flow over there and locate out how existence is going for the individuals now that Hussain is lengthy gone. they could study the thanks to have interaction their brains formerly their mouths move action!!!!!

LMAO forceful occupation is the name of the game.

If you understand Logistics, then you'd understand the question to follow.

Do you play alot of video games and fantasy football?

I'll paint a better picture ... imagine NYC if all of NYPD swooped in and concentrated all thier manpower to 1 trouble area. Do you think the crime would simply contain itself to that 1 area?

Occupation = territory; ever played "king of the moutain".

Peace is realized and kept alive by non-violent agreement.

War is realized and kept by alive by violent disagreement.

The simplest of all resolutions to this war would amount to Genocide.

The more direct resolution would be to secure our territory first and their teritory secondary; defensively leaving our terrotory less effected by "threats" and offensively coming to thier territory less effected by "threats"
