and I know it was wrong but I had unprotected sex with another male last night in a club bathroom. He also performed oral sex on me. I know it was wrong, but I hadn't had sex in 4 years since I discovered I was infected. I looked at it as a last time, but now I realize that I hurt this guy. I'm too scared to tell him what should I do?

You HAVE to tell him. can you imagine if you were him? you have to let him know so that he doesnt pass it on to other innocent people. it would be so selfish of you to keep it from him.

This is an incredibly unfortunate situation, love, but you really need to be a man and let him know, at least just so that he can be aware of what kind of a risk that, not only you put him in, but he also put himself in. Try to put yourself in his shoes: If you were him, wouldn't you want to know? Additionally, think about how many other people may be at risk if you don't tell him. He won't know that he's infected and he'll go and have unprotected sex with many other people who may likely become infected as well. I know it's the hardest thing for you to do, but it will also be the right thing to do. Take a moment and think about the weight you're going to have to carry on your conscience for the rest of your life if you don't tell him. I wish you all the best, love.

hey hun... I could only say that I could only imagine what you could be feeling. I myself don't have aids. But I do think that everyone has the right to know the truth. I was put in a very similar situation except he never told me he had something. I was grateful to find out through a friend of his and got checked. I know it is scary and probablly is going to be hard to tell him. But if it was reversed, and you were the one who slept with a gentleman who had aids, or other diseases wouldn't you like the common curtousy of knowing? I wish I could be of more help to you and talk to you. I am very inspired by the courage you had by posting such a question to the world asking for help. Wait until you know he knows you're the one who infected him . And even then how would you know for sure it' YOU and no one else. Everyone may make a mistake, but now you don't know all of it so relax and next time act another way with others.

Wouldn't you have liked to have been told when you were exposed? Please call this guy and tell him. You did hurt him. Did you know that having unprotected sex when you are infected with AIDS, without disclosing that information, is a crime and you could go to jail? If you call him, you can probably avoid getting into any legal trouble.

There's a good chance he will still be ok, but you really need to tell him. As I'm sure you know, if you have infected him, the earlier he knows the better.

u need to let him know. it will be hard for him to accept and yall relationship may end, but he needs to get tested and know what's going on with his body. he could also sue u for knowing u had aids and didn't tell him. that's illegal and people have gotten in trouble for this. u should think about others and not ur self. think about hard how it was for u when u found out and how u may have gotten it. please be kind and don't spread the virus to other innocent people.

i agree with the other answers it's only right to let him know so he can go get tested but it has not been studied or anything that just because you have it that you automatically pass it on or just hope in your case and if for some one in a million chance that he does'nt get it you better thank god and don't fall for that temptation anymore it only hurts inoccent people and yourself.
