I love the beach in Tampa Fl. We usually go to Clear-water. St. Pete is in the area. The sand is white and it doesn't get hot like Myrtle Beach in S.C. The water is warm and calm and the beach is really clean. This is my favorite beach so far.

I love Wrightsville Beach near Wilmington, NC. Just gorgeous, plus it's a college town, so it has a ton of night life.
