like i'm getting ready to go to college, but what happens if u have to leave for something like that at the last minute?

If it's your own funeral then leaving college seems like the thing to do.
However, for emergencies and the like, they're usually really good about it and you just talk with them about your problem.. They will help you as much as they can.
If you need to take of a year or so, they can also do that for you, so don't feel too nervous.

If you had to completely leave? In that case you could talk with your professors and make other arrangements. If you take an incomplete you won't have to re-take your classes, all you will have to do is submit the required assignments and then you will get your grade.
If you are just leaving for a few days you could talk to your professor before you leave, and then give them your assignments when you get back. Either way, communication with your professor ahead of time is important.

u can be pardoned from your classes with an incomplete without your grade point being affected, but you will have to retake the classes
