I told god that I wanted to live my life my way and that I wanted to party all the time and keep doing pot because all my friends were being held down by their kids and there was no way i would be. One month later, I found out I was having a beautiful baby boy. Then at 20 weeks, i found out I was having TWO! Unfortunately, I lost one but at least I have one. I will never forget my lost little boy, but his brother is mine forever. As soon as i found out I was pregnant, I quit the alcohol, drugs and smoking completely. About 2 monthes after I had my first, I found out that I was pregnant again, so here I am at 38 1/2 weeks ready for my daughter. I am getting married soon too. God blessed me alot.

LOL, it's kind of similar to yours.

I wasn't supposed to be able to have children. I was 35 and faced with the realization that adoption probably wasn't an option and that I'd be childless. I rarely consciously thought about it because it hurt so much to consider.

A girlfriend of mine announced her pregnancy. I congratulated her. 3 months later, another girlfriend announced HER pregnancy and I lost it. I just broke down. I cried and cried and cried, told her I was thrilled for her but revealed that I couldn't have children. I was devastated.

3 weeks later I found out I was pregnant. I think the crying and crying and crying to my friend was hormones, because I was pregnant when I told her I couldn't have children! Doh! The 1st g/f had her son in December. I had my daughter April 22 and my 2nd friend had her son April 23 LOL!

And the funniest thing is that the 1st g/f in that story told us in early 2005 that she was pregnant again. Ya ready? She had her daughter on November 2, the 2nd g/f in the story had her daughter on March 18 and I had my daughter on March 27. So both "sets" of children are all within a few months or days of each other!

I'm living proof that God loves us - and as they say, "His time, not mine..."

Hugs to you and your twinners!

I was once told that God only gives you what you can handle.

I'm also pregnant with twins. After being told that I couldn't have anymore. These will be my 6th & 7th children.

So everytime I think of that saying, I just wonder if maybe God had me confused with somebody else!

But I'm sooooo excited! Being pregnant with twins, I'm surely double blessed.
