Because jobs these days are artificial, pathetic waste of time with no purpose other than to keep people off the street and fuel the commercialist money-go-round.

How many jobs provide directly usefull output, like farming?

Technology, instead of giving us more leisure time, has increased work efficiency so that to maintain a reasonable level of employment we are forced to perform meaningless tasks.

Example: A gym.
Why the heck do people go to a gym? (dont even think of saying "to keep fit", "to lose weight", thats just obvious), I mean why not excercise in a usefull way?, build a house or something instead of throwing effort down the drain.

They want employees that are not lazy and don't slack off. They want their employees to stay focused on the job. If you stay focused, then you should be quick enough. If you think your not fast enough for the job, then don't apply for that job then.
