why did my favorite player of all time not play last night in the all start game????

I'm a Braves fan and I was disappointed when they didn't play Andruw Jones!! My husband said it was because the outfielders they had in were doing a descent job that some of the other players might not get to play. I don't think that they but Scott Rolen in on third, David Wright played third. I think they should have allowed each reserve play a inning. They all deserved to play, I don't care if they were good or not. I think they could've gotten a better manager.

I think he was being saved in case of extra innings. I'm sure he would have hit in the 10th inning if it had come around. Remeber what happened a few years ago with the tie? Everyone had played and neither team had any players left. Go Braves! I like Andruw too by the way.

Garner mentioned that there would be several players that wouldn't play.Bay played the entire game and Andruw and Nomar did not get in the game.It looks like favoritism to me.
Renteria played the entire game and surely Nomar could have played ss.

Yeah I noticed that Andruw and Nomar didn't get in and they should have at least played some. Andruw is the best outfielder in baseball and can also take one deep! Nomar is one of the best too so this did not make much sense to me. I was disappointed.

well cuz he played carlos beltran the whole game, which i don;t understand why. he could of at least put andruw in for matt holliday, it wouldn't of made much of a difference, and yeah i think garner did a bad job of managing last night. he should of pinch hit nomar for freddy sanchez against mariano rivera, nomar has seen rivera b4, and knows wht his pitches r like.

he should have played in the final inning instead of carlos lee because he is a way better defender than lee is but phil garner didnt think of that for some reason
