There is a NZ band called Elemeno P which I absolutely love. They are rock, not too heavy and they put on a hell of a live show. Their, first album, Love and Disrespect is a favorite of mine. Here is a link to their website if you are interested

The Automatic, The Fratellis, also if your not from Ireland (They are big in Ireland, and are one of the best band's in Ireland, a list including U2 and Thin Lizy) Aslan (going about 20 years, if not more)

Theres an AWESOME band called Chasing Monroe. They r pretty popular in New Jersey but im sure they will become more popular. (i am related to the lead singer. isnt that cool) type in Chasing Monroe in yahoo search or any search engine and check them out.
