When I try to install my USB PCI Card, a box pop up that says that it doesn't have a Windows logo and the driver has not been signed and I can stop the installation or continue, and when I continue it doesn't work. How can I make it install properly. I have Windows XP, the PCI card supports it. It is a ZOnet 4+1 USB2.0 PCI Host Card VIA Chipset.

Have you tried just rebooting? Windows XP normally supports USB 2.0 natively if you have SP2 installed. If you don't have SP2 go to Windows update and get it, then try again.

You should not have to run the driver program that comes with your hardware.

Did you install the driver? Maybe the driver needs updated. Try removing hardware and reinstalling it. Reboot your computer. Maybe your motherboard is not designed for a 2.0 card. Maybe you can only have a 1.0.

Good luck

is your motherboard usb 2.0 compatible? I ran into this issue with a soyo dragon plus motherboard (pre usb 2.0). when i tried to install a usb 2.0 pci card, it would cause the computer to be unstable and freeze.
