I love you, baby, because society in general has an ethos of concern and caring for humanity in general, and I willingly have accepted that ethical standard, so let me count the ways, though I'm afraid that when you hear them you're going to think I'm running for office.
I love you to the level of backing law enforcement programs and a judicial system for the purpose of protecting you and everybody else. (If you innocently or not so innocently get caught in the cold, impersonal, and often unjust machinery of this "love", good luck.)
I love you freely, through my support for universal education through college level, vocational training for people out of work. (I say I love you "freely", because at the moment I am so poor that I am not required to assume any federal tax liability, but still would be upset if they cut funding for schooling. As poor as I am, I can always tutor or substitute teach because of my education.)
I love you purely, because I back food programs and other emergency programs by private organizations and government to help you in case you are hungry and in need-- no strings attached! Take your plate. As far as I'm concerned, you don't have to pose for any pictures or do anything else unpleasant to keep from starving. But don't take this love too personally, love, because this kind of love is what philosophers call AGAPE, which does not mean my jaws are agape at your charm! How could they be? I don't even know you!
Nope, "AGAPE" a Greek word pronounced roughly, "Uh-GAWP-ee", means responsible, generous, self-giving concern for mankind in general. As a result of this, my dear, (if you're a guy, accept my red-faced apology!) please know that you are loved by many people, albeit in a rather impersonal way-- so curl up in sleep tonight with a secure, warm feeling knowing you are loved.
Your question, I admit, elicits a warm, fuzzy feeling in me, because I have lived a long time, and have learned how universally important it is to people to feel loved, and how devastating it is not to be. (Could this, in itself, be love?)

I don't know you, you sound awfully young, but honey...
Everyone loves you.
Unfortunately, there are just some that haven't figured it out yet...
