Of course, all American adults should see the movie, and many will. But we are so politically polarized that we can expect 40 percent of the nation to follow the lead of President George W. Bush and the talk-show hacks and either make fun of Gore or refuse to see his work. Bush proudly declared he has no intention of seeing "An Inconvenient Truth." Yet, he did read the science-fiction novel "State of Fear," by Michael Crichton, and invited the author to the White House, where the two men reportedly agreed that global warming was somewhat of a hoax.
Republicans are total idiots.

I think there are so major problems with his presentation. Most importantly fuel cells. They take 3 times as much energy to run a car as compared to electricity. They are extremely flammable and can economically be sourced only from fossil fuels at an extremely expensive price. How could a "smart guy" like Al Gore not see this. Either he is blind or an oil politician.
He hardly speaks of the advanced solar technology and currently available electric cars. He speaks nothing about the other problems of pollution - mercury, fine particles, cancer link. The presentation is incomplete, biased and too discouraging for kids.

Yes and No.
The information in the movie should be provided to every educated person.
I saw the film i have researched the counter arguments, and concluded Global Warming is a real threat......
The fact that Gore is involved may, hurt in the places were the information is most baldy needed.
Gore means well, but there is a segment of society that would stop believing in Gravity if Gore had been the one to suggest its existance....

In other words, should indoctrination of our kids be made official policy? Hmmm...signs point to "no". I suppose we should make them all see "Fahrenheit 9/11" too?
Ah, so I'm a "right wing Stalinist" because I suggest that maybe we shouldn't be cramming more liberal propaganda down our kids' throats? Why does that fail to surprise me? Must be that "tolerance" and "open-mindedness" again. You have a nice day now.

Just remember, the same scientists that are talking about global warming were warning of the impending ice age humans were bringing about not that long ago.

Sure, why not. Reefer madness was required. 1984 was required. We watched the Wizard of OZ.
That's the typical answer when enough people won't believe liberal lies...force it down the kids throats. Force them to watch Michael Moore too. Why don't you just force them to burn effigies of Bush and mandate how they vote. Libs are such liars.

Since we all live on this little planet we should all watch this movie. It should be a bi-partisan issue. Maybe if Clarence Thomas endorsed it republicans would open their minds.

Sure. You can show Al Gore's flick, if you also show Passion of the Christ. What makes your liberal agenda any more important than my Christian agenda?
Liberals are total dingleberries.
