When you say there's a full moon you are saying that the moon is completely visible, and completely of anything would be the full. so the moon is complete, or there is a full moon.
Oh and it's full of cheese and is inhabited by mice who are slowly eating it away, thats why it gets smaller, it's magic so it grows back when the mice run out of food. =P
