That is, now that the courts reaffirmed the rights of hundreds of inmates, held without charges for years, to challenge the legality of their detention in Guatanamo Bay.

Remember the LAW, patriots. People seem so happy to enforce it on poor undocumented workers, but what about this law, HMMM?

Racism refers to various belief systems maintaining that humans can be separated into various groups based on physical attributes and that these groupings determine or influence cultural or individual achievement or the essential value of human beings. This can lead to hostility against individuals based on a perceived or ascribed "race".

Any racism is wrong.

First, you can only be "racist" if you are bigoted against a "race." Since Islam is a religion and not a race, "anti Muslim racism" is an oxymoron. Second, if these inmates are Americans, then they should definitely have their rights under the Constitution upheld. However, as far as I have hear, none of those inmates are American and, therefore, are not entitled to any rights under the Constitution nor do they deserve any. They are prisoners of war. Finally, what has the detention of these inmates have to do with anti-Muslim bigotry? Nothing! They are there for suspicion of terrorism.

Bush was violating the Constitution by first claiming they weren't on American soill and had no right to habeas corpus!

(Latin for "You have the body.") A writ of habeas corpus requires a person to be brought before a judge. It is usually used to direct an official to produce a prisoner so that the court may determine if such a person has been denied his liberty without due process.

People were being held for years with no charges!

No one has challenged the law, no one is enforcing it and Congress is unwilling to address the issue!!

Being Muslim means that you practice Islam. Islam is a religion not a race therefore there cannot be racism against Muslims.

No i don't. We should not think that all anti-Muslim people are bad or that we should hate them. I mean not every single Muslim was involved with the 9/11. We should hate the people who did it not the people that happen to have the same beliefs. But it is wrong to be racist. don't be that. We should not look at every anti- Muslim with hate. That is wrong!

I think that every government has a right to defend itself. I believe that if prisoners are held they should be treated with dignity. I know that some of the prisoners have been mistreated, but at least they arent having thier heads SAWED OFF!! IF YOU PLAY WITH FIRE, THE USA IS GONNA KICK YOUR @SS! IF YOU CANT TAKE THE HEAT...DONT MESS WITH US!! But, really all prisoners should be treated fairly.

It's not racism to protect yourself from a false religion that tells its followers to kill Americans.

Ah, but you don't realize that to Americans the law only works if it doesn't affect their views or money.
