Everyone gives props to this title like it is the first of it's kind. There hae been other titles that basically are as plain and they dont get any attention. I mean Lady in the Water? Hmmm, I wonder what thats about. I dont understand why the snakes on a plane title is such a big deal since other movie have done the same before.

Personally, I love this title. A lot of movie titles will kind of misrepresent the content of the film to make it more palatable to a mass audience. Case in point: "Bring It On" should have been called "Attractive Girls in Sexy Outfits", but I think the studio decided to call it "Bring It On" because they felt that might disguise what the movie was really about. But "Snakes On a Plane" is a title without pretension, that's up front and honest about what you get when you cough up your $9.00. I think more movies should have titles like this.

Hullo? 1st many people have an apprehension of flying on an plane. second, many people have an apprehension of snakes. in the experience that they did not call it so succinctly, those who're fearful of both or both ought to go see the movie and be freaked out. ok, that's lame, i'm fearful of snakes, yet i appreciate flying! Now someone ought to take the Freudian view and snakes are symbolic for penises. To me, snakes are extra about not having a clue how they are going to flow, so i wager some administration themes there. even as flying on planes is about giving over administration to somebody else. both one in all those issues are undesirable to some people. i imagine the writers were purely going for the biggest concern adrenaline rush they could muster. it may't be too undesirable of a movie if Samuel L. Jackson chosen to headline it, ought to it? Regardless, i'm not paying to work out it because i don't like snakes and that i know i'd be having nightmares. Peace.

I like it. It's straight to the point and I think it has helped with all the buzz its getting that and Samuel L. Jackson.
Be honest, don't you hate when a movie is titled something like "A Few More Years" and it's about a little girl that lost her dog.

In the last ten years I've flown? Hey ... you're only citing a slice of life. Don't use that either I think it's been done even though there's no copyright on titles.

It was already a cult hit before it was even released. So it's got to be stupid. I'll definately see it. It reminds me of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
