yes you may file a complaint. i've worked at a place where a manager had to talk to an employee about proper hygiene. it truly is disruptive to the workplace when everyone has to constantly put up with a nasty stench.

Absolutely. B.O. in the workplace has been documented by the Department of Labor as more dangerous than second hand flatulence. In fact, OSHA currently has a handbook available called "Don't Pull That Finger--A Guide to Workplace Flatulence Safety."
If contacting HR fails, attempt to rectify the problem on your own. One recommendation is to constantly spray Lysol in and around the offender's workspace. Another is to purchase them toiletries such as soap and cologne.
If all else fails, kick their a$$ in the parking lot.

Just ask your coworker if they brought there brother Bo Funk to work with them today. Just tell HR that someone stinks and its hurting your working ability. If someone has bad personal hygiene they must be a bad person.

You have to make a complain letter telling to the HR how this situation is affecting you. Anything that bothers you at your work place you have all the rights to argue about it. I hope this help.

Yes you can file a complaint. It is affecting you and your concentration. Something needs to be said to this person so that they can take corrective action.

Yes you may report a person who is offensive to you. You have a right to work in a place that is "odor free".

Make sure he's not a person of color. In a lot of Muslim and third world countries, it's perfectably acceptable to reek of body odor and you might be violating his rights.

Yes - and I would not just let it go. There is no reason for bad hygiene.

doubt it.
you could leave an anonymous note that is polite, stating that they have some body b.o. that is affecting others...
or
you could just buy some deoderant and stick it on their desk with a sticky note "TRY ME PLEASE"
