American born male here, 37 years old, Independent. Love the USA, hate the president. When GW stoled the first election I refused to put my hand on my heart during the pledge at my sons baseball game that season. Then, I realized that our president really doesn't represent our country, just the retarded, right wing, religious fanatics who voted for him with every one of their toothless corn fed cousins. I've since placed my hand on my heart several times because My country is MY COUNTRY and he is not as big a part of it as I gave him credit for. This land is my land. This land is your land. This land is not Bush land. Love your country. Hate the president (he deserves it) and get our soldiers back home so we can fight wars that weren't started by someone's daddy!

I am not an American but I love the US and think that George W Bush is a really good President. I like the way he did not shy away from taking out the dictator Saddam Hussein and he is not intimidated by Iran or Syria, calling them what they are, "an Axis of evil."
I am over 21.

I dont know what it means to hate the US. If i hated the US, would that mean i hated the Appalachian mountains? Would i hate baseball? What about rock and roll, and Hollywood movies? Aren't those things part of America? I dont hate those things, just because i hate Bush. For the phrase "hating America" to mean something, we would have to define what America is.
I think America is a concept of freedom and democracy as defined by the US Constitution. So if anyone hates America, it would be people who hate the Constitution; who dont accept it the way it is but want to change it by amending it -- to discriminate against gays, for example.

I don't hate the U.S. I just think Americans get a bad rap through the media and can be percieved as self-serving, lazy, complainers and fat.
