and if you already have done it, how bad was the pain on a scale of 1-10(1 least and 10 most)?

ok so do you think that cattle would hate it just as much as most of you seem to? then why do we hurt those poor animals!?! sorry to change topic, but if you think about it, what happened to the golden rule 'do unto others as you would have done unto you'??? think about that the next time you eat a hamburger or enjoy bacon with your breakfast.

I have lots of scars....I had an accident in a kitchen...and all the stupid ones stayed....I used to have a smiley face on my forearm....just the way the fryer oil landed.....that hurt like ***** but what do you want with 450 degree oil splashing you....I haven't been branded or scarred purposely....however I did gives myself a tattoo on my leg...I was really drunk so it didn't hurt but I have no idea what it is...I think an eyeball or something....I'm sorry I'm rambling on and on I'm bored.....scarring on certain body parts does not hurt that bad......it all depends on your threshold of pain....some people freak on tattooes, but I have six and loved every minute of it....I feel alive while I'm doing it.....also had 8 facial piercings...again the pain felt good and I've heard screams coming from other people...

I know a couple of men who had branding done as part of a fraternity ritual. They say it's very painful at the time of the branding and the healing time is no picnic either. It's a 3rd degree burn! One guy had considerable pain for about 2 weeks after. I would never do it, but to each his own.

Branding sucks, i have a scar from a hot wire, probably pain level of 8 and i have keloid scaring which i also wouldnt suggest pain level around a 4 but i naturally keloid other people have to have toxic stuff rubbed in which adds another 3 pain points to it. I honestly think it is a bad idea.

i scared my initials on the back side of my hand when i was 17. now im 21 and it is still highly visible but faded somewhat. it was pretty deep so thats probably why its still the way it is. it hurt a whole bunch when i started (using a new sterile hobby knife). just outlined first with the sharp part of the blade and then scraped away with the blade point. it hurt like a mother but a little bit into it the pain stopped and everything was just numb. i dont recommend it though as you may regret it like i do now.

personal body modification is just a choice.. do it or not.
i have a tattoo, and some piercings, that's it.
i always try to think "what will this look like when i'm 50?"
or
"what will i look like at the pool with my children when i'm 40?"
or
"what will this look like after i've had kids?"
or
"will this prohibit me from getting a job?"
if you are comfy with the answers to those, go for it!!
(just my questions... some people really don't care about what i care about, so, it's your choice)

man, now you put the idea on my mind!
Never mind, a tattoo is way better, besides, I'm not no frickin' cow or anything. I don't need to be labeled.
