Verizon's plan for 5 phones would be about 179.96 per month for 3000 minutes (plus fees, taxes, extras, etc.). The other major carrier (at least in my area) Cingular is the same price (both are 149.99 for 1st 2 lines, 9.99 each additional line).

In this instance, it seems to come down to service rather than price. I'd suggest checking with some friends in your area with all providers to see who gets the best signal where you spend most of your time.

Otherwise, pricing is pretty similar across the board.

Depends on where you live but you can go with U.S. Cellular and it'd be $149.99 for all the phones plus you get free m2m and all of your incoming calls/txt/pix are free!
