Racism does exist. In every form and fashion it is present. The problem is that a lot of people don't call it racism. They hide behind their 1st Admendment Rights to think, to say, to feel, and sometime even to act.

Racism was basically straight forward more in the society of yesterday compared to todays society, because back then it was apart of the law. It was common knowledge and more worldly accepted.

Even now, when it has been removed from the law books, and not as accepted as before...many can find racism even in the most innocense of settings.

Racism still exists believe me. I live in Pittsburgh and it is a racist, a homophobic and a jew hating city. The only thing Federal laws have done is to give employers, and all these people who are racist, homophobic and antisemitic a chance to cover up their behavior behind some law. Even the most well-meaning of people discriminates at some level. It is not possible to escape it

Do you live in reality?.....do you watch any new stations, read any news, gone outside?....kind of a silly question if you know that we are at war that is pretty much based on racism and religion.....did you here about September 11th?....I'm being sarcastic, but I really want to know that if you know everything that is going on in today's society how you can honestly ask with a straight face if racism still exist....dumbest question Ive ever heard.

I work for a hospital corporataion and I handle accounts for hospitals all over the U.S. taking calls from people from all walks of life. And just from working there and hearing what these people say it is very apparent that race is a very big factor in todays society and that is unfortunate.

Yes, it is very much in existence, unfortunately. Especially out in the sticks where I live, I have encountered many forms of racism, from the subtle to the outwardly violent.

I still think racism exists. the only difference now is that we don't take it seriously anymore because there are a lot of people from all races who we can look up to.

Sadly yes.Around here in New York dark hate light, light hate dark. There is also racism to immigrates.I say it's not the color that counts it is the person inside.I don't get it ,I have a rainbow of friends.I think that's what makes us interesting. But it doesn't matter at least god loves us how he made us.

Racisim is VERY prevalent in the World. It's what wars are fought over. It's the reason behind many deaths. It's sad, but really we haven't grown all that much as a population.

It still exist to some extent in all races and I don't think that it will ever go away as long as there are groups like NAACP, KKK...I am not racist. I am sure you know what I mean...I live in the south and the KKK is still around.
