Does anyone know the music they play in-stadium at the end of the World Cup, particularly the Final (during the awards ceremony)? It was phenominal. Kind of orchestral/triumphant. There were three songs. First was almost like a samba and then the next two were more "classical" sounding. I have to find out! Amazing.

So far, here are the correct answers, as I've down some searching of tunes as well as watched the video again. First song (during France medal ceremony) is correctly stated as Bob Sinclair - Love Generation. It's just a loop of the opening guitar part. 2nd song is correctly stated as Celebrate the Day by Hebert Groenigmeyer or whatever. It's actually not a great song on the whole and sounds more "triumphant" by way of the garbled stadium sound coming through the tv, but that loop being played is pretty good. Now, what's killing me are the last two songs. One does sound like Pavarotti - someone was half right - because it doesn't sound like the one mentioned. And then there's a final song with just music - horn sounding. So what are these last 2?

I am not sure. I know Germany had a couple of songs out just for the Worldcup, but nothing classical. And I would imagine that atthe final, they probably play the same song each time. I may have to watch iot again and see if I can figure it out. If so, I will post it here.

I heard the French and the Italian national anthems, but I can't remember if they played them during the award ceremony or in between (I mean, between the end of the game and the actual ceremony).

I believe the orchestral one is called "Stand Up for the Champions". I thin Patrizio Buanne sings it. Not sure which the other ones you are speaking of are. Need more specifics. Could be "Celebrate the Day" by Herbert Gronemeyer, or even "The Time of our Lives" by Il Divo and Tony Braxton.

I think you might be talking about the Italian hymn... I don't know, I don't remember what music they played, but I would assume they would play that during the award ceremony.. : /
