People always say how smart, tall, and pretty I am. I am NOT tall, not at all, and I don't consider myself a gift to the world of beauty. So how do I know people are just being nice for that too? School is very important to me, but my friends and family have to be nice, right? This isn't about me alone, its about the balance between ********* and insecurity. Sure, my test scores are great, but really..... how can we all know? Just deep thoughts..........

my dear, you are being paid a lot of compliments, you should accept them and keep moving in the right direction. if school is very important to you, then you will accomplish your goals. at that time in your life you are sure to receive more compliments. oh and maybe your personality and test scores make you appear tall, pretty, and smart. good luck to you!!!!

I had a student who made C's in my college English 1301 class. She didn't understand how she made C's because she always made A's in her English Class in high school, so I asked her how many students were in her high school. She told me 3,000. I told her her competition was not as high. I showed her that the college she was attending currently had 50,000 students and her competition were students who were college bound rather than just out to get a high school diploma. She worked hard to get an A in that class and her work ethic eventually took her there as she checked on her grade regularly and asked what she did wrong to right the wrong. The next semester, she told me, she started with a B and once again went to her professor and he told her the same thing. She once again made an A. What does this tell you? Was she smarter than everyone? Or was her ethic just far superior? She wanted it...those are the people that make it. She wasn't afraid to strive for the best. And, she learned how to be a college student. She was also very pretty and tried to use her powers of beauty prowess to perfect a grade. It didn't work with me first because well, I'm a female, and second because well, I did the same thing in college and teased her about it. I wonder if she tried the same thing with the next professor.

No deep thoughts. We can't know. We can simply accept the compliments that people choose to lavish on us and be gracious.

you never know, the only thing that matters is how you feel!
My favourite phrase is this:''the only thing that i know,is that i don't know anything'' SOCRATES
So,relax! Some people telling you the truth, they find you smart, pretty etc.some other maybe not...It's ok because it's not possible to be pretty to everyone's eyes!
One friend of mine doesn't like Monica Bellucci...
