This question will never be resolved.
The IQ for each group range about the same with maybe one group slightly higher than the other. (results will be available on line)
We always like to think "our" group is better than the rest, which is baseless, and hard to disprove.
Guys and girl as a group generally excel at different things. It is up to the observer to tell which weighs heavier.

Being a guy, I'll say that you and the other person are right. Lots of guys are dumb, but lots of girls are too. It just depends on what you're talking about. Sure, girls mature faster. But you've also got those stupid ones that make up for all the mature ones. And there are a bunch of guys who do stupid things. Just like there are a bunch of guys that are mature too.

Both can be intelligent or below average. I think women are more sensitive to certain issues like love, caring, nurture. Our brains are wired differently and being in a man's world, it stands to reason that we vary greatly due to nature and nurture influences.Have a great day.
