Well let's just see what the Republicans have done, shall we?

Let's start with the first Republican President, some guy named Lincoln. Freed millions of slaves.

Oh, I know, you want something RECENT, right? How about Eisenhower? Had something to do with the liberation of Europe from the Nazis. As President, he did a little thing called desegregation. But that's likely old news to you too, right?

Well then, how about Reagan? He only set in motion the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War. This removed the oppresive yoke of communism from 380 million people or so. But of course to you loonely lefties, I guess this would be a bad thing.

I guess we can move on to George H W Bush. He overthrew the corrupt regime of Noriega in Panama. You might remember Noriega, he was a drug kingpin that threatened to blow up the Panama canal. Then there was that little bit about saving Kuwait from Saddam Hussein, and preventing him from invading Saudi Arabia.

Take off your liberal-stained glasses, learn some history, see the world the way it really is.

The US has always involved it self in other countrys....

During no administration EVER in US history has the US involved it self in other countrie's politics or social plights for the sole purpose of being "nice" or good people...T I N S T A A F L..theres no such thing as a free lunch...
Everything is for a larger reason. Many have not worked out and many have.
It is stupid for people to think that the invasion of IRAQ was not done for several reasons including Economic and political stability in the region for US.

With that said Im glad were there...Im glad we will leave a mark in that region ...one that NO country has been able to do since the region began. (England in india does not count)

Speaking of flipping the switch, since when do Democrats care about the Iraqi people? You didn't give a crap that they were being tortured, raped and slaughtered before we went in there, but now that we have, suddenly you're all upset about how many have died since we went in. Hypocrisy, thy name starts with D!

Edit: I'm not saying we should have gone in for that reason alone (which, by the way, we didn't), just pointing out the rampant hypocrisy here.

The republicans have an excellent set of fact spinners on their side...they create these great buzzwords and middle america eats them up....
Somehow they have gotten people to believe that they are on a higher playing field than the democrats.
The bottom line is greating work for their homies companies.

Republicans, democrats...politicians as a group (outside of a very few indiviuals) don't really care who's liberated or who's not. It's called "politics"

They don't one bit. If it was up to them we'd be commiting middle eastern nuclear genocide. They're just trying to make their f*cked up war seem progressive for votes.

It isn't about liberating anyone. It's about gaining power and wealth worldwide.

It's not something sudden.
What liberal news told you it was?
