I am not a big fan of this but they were close b4 the affair (we meet after the affair). She is completely honest with me and is a great person. The affair lasted almost a year and she said it was a horrendous mistake and he agreed but they would like to remain friends. I said that is weird and she should sever all ties with him. She said she would but that I was not being fair to her and she would never do such a thing again and she was just helping him out because he was so miserable. I do love her very much and don't want this to come between us. I told her to think of the wife (that she is friends with now) and how she would feel if she were to find out. I really don't want to break it off because of this - but am startled she still wants to be friends. She thinks it would be cool if he and I hung out and she hung out with the other girl. She is very trustworthy and an awsome person (except this incident) and I would like to stay with her. Any suggestions or advice would be great.

Hell no! That's total bs and you know it or you wouldn't be asking this. What kind of moron screws someone and then wants to be friends with him and his wife? That is just messed up. And how was she "helping" him? By screwing him? What happens when he's still having "problems"? She going to help him out again? LMFAO

You think she's trustworthy, but actually this is your mind fooling itself(everyone does it). I wouldn't think someone is a trustworthy person if they did that to a female friend behind her back, and then continued befriending her. It's called a sociopath when someone doesn't have a conscious. Of course, she's going to tell you it was a mistake. I'm just saying to ignore what she says(because anyone can say anything-----I'm an alien... does that mean I'm really an alien?), take a step back and look at her character before you get hurt.

Very bad idea. That's just her having to stare temptation in the face everytime she's around him. I would question her true reasons for wanting to remain friends with them. If you know you've done something bad, it's always better to learn from it and walk away cleanly.
