I'd have to say Churchill. He recognized Hitler's evil before Hitler even came to power. Unfortunately, no one listened to Churchill.

That's a very tough call. I'd say Hitler, Roosevelt and Stalin were all equally brilliant with Churchill right behind them.

I'm not really sure but we do know that Hilter was insane so that would leave the other 3 then taking
Stalin in to account I guess that would knock it down to 2 so I would have to say Churchill and Roosevelt.. But my bet would be on Roosevelt

What do you mean "smarter"?
Churchill was a great writer and self-promoter (as most politicians are) and one of the foremost orators of the last five hundred years.
Hitler was a political genius, and a brilliant orator, who made the most of a political wave, riding it to total control over a third of the Earth's surface.
Roosevelt was the LEADER who brought America out of the Great Depression, our only four-term president, and the founder of some of the most foreward-thinking social programs in history.
Stalin was an ignorant peasant whose ruthlessness and force let him seize control of the second most powerful nation on the planet, survive numerous plots, kill more of his own population than the Nazis ever did, and still get a statue in Moscow.
As Forest, Forest Gump observed, "Smart is as smart does."
They all did more than you or I or any other person of our generation is likely to do. They were all "smart."
Not necessarily very nice, but real real "smart."
Bet they all coulda got good SAT scores, too.

Definitely Roosevelt. Had he not agreed to take part in the war then only god knows what would have happened. Hitler had conquered almost all of europe except britain and was anxious to capture it too. But the timely intervention of roosevelt saved not only europe but the world. He is also famous for enacting a law that no president could remain more than 8 years in office and of course is famous for his role in saving america from the "Great Depression". So, i think he was the most smarter of all. It was really sad that he died suddenly while on a holiday.

The Austrian ex - corporal from World War One Adolf Hitler led Germany as Reichs Chancelor until his death in May 1945. From then until the end of the war it was Grand Admiral Karl Doentiz. I do not believe that was probably the easiest answer I have given.

I hate to say this but Hitler was the smartest out of all of them. Everyone of those men are smart in their own ways, but the way Hitler was able to get an entire county to back in ways and do what he did, espically how he pretty much dictated were the jews were to go after they were exiled out of Germany and make them go to Poland is amazing how he had it planed out, all though some of his later decisons were very bad, some say due to an STD.
