That's an excellent question! Yes, I believe it comes down to what you have control over. Anything you have control over will be dictated by how you see it(perception). When you're soley in control then perception does in fact become reality.

You will consciously or subconsciously go towards the direction in your mind(belief/perception).

FEAR- false eveidence appearing real. If you make me think you have a gun under your jacket, I will do what you say or give you my money based on my belief, regardless of whether you have a gun or not.

Your mind controls your actions. Perception does not change laws but it changes your behavior, this is where the reality comes in.

And one of the best examples I know of perception, in 1915 there was a Charlie Chaplin look-a-like contest. Charlie Chaplin himself entered and placed third. Yes, perception is indeed reality.

This is why some of the most powerful, effective people in the world are those who learn how to see things from other people's perspective. Fortunately, everyone of us have this wonderful power.

"truly" is a BIG word there i think, and so is "real"..without a concrete example i will just say that its possible to believe a lie, but it doesnt make it the truth. On another note, if u can truley believe that u can accomplish somthing, then u can, but there has to be some sort of guidelines as to what is allowable or possible...or maybe not lol...the basis of christian "faith" or of the magical powers of the occult are founded on the idea that u can recieve what you can believe...the trick is to really believe it. christians have rules for their use of faith...the occult attempts to use the faith without rules. ...i dont even know if what i just said makes sense to me lol...

To believe does make it real within the realms of your mind.Your mind can become one with the universe, nature since we all posses the same elements, and come from the same source, creator of life. You can manifest things, you can see it in your mind and pull it to you from the universe.

Just believing something doesn't make it real in any way more than the subjective sense that your belief is real to you.

Some people think it can. It's called the "quantum effect" in some areas of theory about what is consciousness, or "placebo effect" in medicine.

The only thing that I can think of that comes the closest is this:

If you truly WANT something, then you can make it happen, you can obtain it, you can make it come real.
