Cable as you siad more reliable.
The channels will are still good
Satellite you get all the channels but, you can forget about it when:1) Strong Winds, Rain, or a Snow storm.
Cable, Satellite is a hassle with climbing and calling
Cable wins
Tivo or Time Warner are the best especially with the DVR.

Cable. We tried satellite, but the additional fees were so exorbitant, we ended up getting a better deal by signing up for digital cable with all the premium channels. Monthly, we paid less and the cable does not go out every time there is a storm.

satellite tv for pc- experts: better channels, better determination, you could list/quick ahead. Cons: in the time of storms they bypass out, better extreme priced than cable Cable- experts: better reception, high quality no longer Quanity?. Cons: a lot less channels, no action picture channels, can't list/fastforward, you could't employ videos on cable at the moment I actual have satellite tv for pc and that i stay so a procedures faraway from the city i am going to't get cable. yet i'd a lot quite a cable.

Cable is the better of the two.
I had the dish thing and it was nothing but problems.
The wind blows and you loose signal and have to do a major adjustment to the setup program. Don't get me started on their billing practices.
The cable has more selections; channels as well as packages (combinations) to choose from. The cost is more but not that much more but the signal and clarity is much better on cable.

Cable.
More reliable and you get local channels. Who needs 5 Home shopping network channels or the ability to watch every minor league baseball game in America?

Cable! We had DirectTV and I got so sick of losing channels. Cable is cheaper - we have it in more rooms for less money and we hardly ever have reception problems.

Broadband cable...Comcast carries On Demand which is great and it's free with your digital cable. Dish is a pain...broke away from that and have been happy ever since.
