I am 38 weeks and I remember the first time I felt this baby kick it was weird. With my first I was like 20 weeks. With this one I was 15-16 weeks and it done it so hard that I thought I was going to urinate myself. My first baby felt like little humps or something and this one thinks he's on a soccer field. Good Luck with your baby!!!!

Great question... I don't remember. How sad is that? I know I was well into my 2nd Trimester, though, which is right around 18-20 weeks. It is real small, though and nothing like you'll experience when you are in your third trimester... and as that goes along, you'll sometimes wish you couldn't feel the kicks as they can really hurt. Regardless if it is internal or external, enjoy it. It is truly remarkable.
