Listen up, warrior girl: respect is earned, not given, and it does not come with a title. What Bush has earned is disrespect, and contempt.

People hate Bush because he is not the president that was elected on both occasions. Maybe you are too young to realize it, but a little research on the internet will teach you the truth (just do a search about the truth about the elections.) He doesn't represent the people, he is a facist, and he is in the position he is in today because of his family and their evil connections. He lies everytime his mouth opens, and is intent on treating the nation llike fools, and the rest of the world like marks in a con game. He even cheated in a gentlemanly debate!

You need to learn to think for yourself, and then do it, before you start showing off how little you know. (I'll bet you don't even vote.) The whole idea behind partisan politics is to distract people from watching what really goes on, and get them to play the petty democrat/republican hate game.

Because he's the worst president of this country. Leaders should be respected, but when our leader is actually a puppet for Big Business and has forgotten that people in the US are unemployed, overworked, and underpaid, then he ceases to be a respectable human being. Not only do current events explain the disdain for this president, but history can explain it as well.

It doesn't matter if you're Democrat or Republican, but no matter what, there will always be somebody out there that doesn't agree with you. The president should not be "hated". That is simply because he leads our country. Let's say there was a pride of lions. They all worked together to gather food and survive. All of the lions and lionesses hated the pride leader. But if they killed him, the pack would fall apart. My point is, we always need a leader and we always need to respect that leader. Hate is too strong of a word. It's almost as if by saying that you hate someone, you're wishing them damnation. Many Americans dislike the president because as long as there's prey, there will always be predators.

1) Democrats are angry because they lost the election to him (not all of us, as I accept and follow our system of government and recognize it rather than deny it. He IS our President.
2) Socialist hate him because he represents the Republicans who don't support socialism for the most part.
3) Seditious people hate him because they hate the United States, period.
4) People who are ignorant and have problems hate him because he is an obvious symbol for their troubles, rather than doing something about the problems.
5) Our enemies hate him because he does his job against them well (otherwise they might support him!)
6) People who don't know the difference between dissent and sedition hate him, because they aren't intelligent or educated or clever enough to argue with him any way except to call him names.
7) Allies in our own country of our enemies also hate him, and pretend to be something else.

Read the other questions of people who hate him. Click on their names. See what other nonsense they post or answer. It's the easist way to tell if the person has any sense, are just confused, or are actually trying to undermine our country.

Regardless, read their arguments, but get all sides.

Respect, but always be ready to speak out. Protest is not sedition. He will always be President Bush to me, even if I publically disagree with somethin he does.

He is the best we've got right now. I mean, would you want Kerry to be our president??? And, to his defense, it is a really tough time right now. I don't think there are very many good decisions that a leader can make nowadays. Every decision he makes is sure to bring some consequence. People do things different ways. They just need to get over it. He is doing a good job right now.

Becuse this is American and people have a freedom of speach. Now if they did not vote in the 2004 elections than they cant really talk much becuse they didnt do a thing. But He is our leader of the free world, he has alot of good intentions and people just do not understand what he is trying to do over in the middle east.

Respect does not come with the position, if someone, no matter who does not deserve respect, you don't give it to them. I was a republican, but not the kind of republican of today. I am a fiscal conservative, but also a liberitarian. That's why I can't be a democrat, or a neo con republican. My type of republican defends the homeland, but does not run the budget like the republicans of today

1) He allowed Osama Bin Laden's family to secretly fly out of the country when all planes were supposed to be grounded and we were supposed to be looking for Bin Laden....now correct me if I'm wrong but if you're looking for a criminal, isn't there family the first people you ask?

2) He's doing absolutely nothing to lower gas prices and he's not going to because he owns an oil business and has a business relationship with Osama Bin Laden's family.

3) Because he still hasn't fulfilled his promise of capturing Bin Laden who was the responsible party for 9/11...not Sadaam, which people seem to have forgotten. Whoop-dee-do, we got Sadaam...but he wasn't the one that perpetrated 9/11. Get smart, people and pay attention to the little details!!!

4) Because he....aaahhh, ya know what, I don't have enough time to list 'em all....

He is your president but I don't believe you should all respect him. I mean what if you don't agree with him? I simply don't agree with what he's doing.

I'm entitled to my opinion just as you and everyone else is entitled to theirs.

I don't respect with our leader (I won't capitalize the L coz he doesn't deserve it) because he's screwing with our healthcare and won't let reporters hear what he's saying in some of his meetings which to me, we have a right to know a lot of what's going on. Him hiding like this just makes him look like a sneak.

Anyway, if you respect your leader, fine, but don't expect everyone else to follow your opinion.

well as a soldier with 11th signal brigade im not suppose to mock our current president but as of right now with it being 16:06(4 pm) and me in civilians i will have to say only b/c soldiers are constantly tired of going to iraq with no intentional reasons. The war is over people it's a political war now with no motive as to why me and several other soldiers are sent over there every single year. Now im not complaining about going over there hell only reason i actually enjoy it is b/c i come back with a new car every year from the money i make in iraq.
