This is not true. Actually the FIFA Comitee will have a very hard time to even fine or ban anyone because they are in a situation where one person will say one thing and another will say something else. They will not strip Italy of their title. The France national team have highered a lawyer and they are going to try and convince fifa that the referee that said he saw the head butt in person didn't actually see the headbutt and only viewed it on a replay. This is illegal and that is what the france national team is trying to prove. If they do indeed prove this then they could redo the final match. This will almost surely not happen so don't wait for this event.

Yes, I would have to agree with that. I cannot imagine them taking the Worldcup back. I just wonder if there will be some kind of punishment for the Italian player? I guess it is done and over with now, I don't know how much can be done anymore. And it would be between the two players, without any witnesses, so hard to proof.

The WorldCup still belongs to Italy, but the actions from matterazi coul cause Italy suspended from International football for a long time, considering FIFA is currently fighting against Racisme

I don't think the Italian team should pay for the actions of one of their players, who is a major punk at that. If his comments were beyond offensive and contained racial connotations, I think FIFA should strip him (and only him) of his medal and permanently ban him from international play. Racial abuse in a game that is supposed to promote respect and fair play must be dealt with the outmost severity and harshness.

I agree with all of you. I thought both teams played a great game and Italy won the championship. But that trash materizzi should be punished if they find that he did indeed use racila slurs or degraded ZiZou ill mother and his sister.

No they can't do that. Italy won the game with 11 players...and only one of them made nasty comments...the player will most likely getr suspended or even kicked out of the league if there's more to it than we know.

quite, i quite do not care. We shouldn't pick a president because they're the "first" some thing, we ought to always pick them because we anticipate of they're going to govern the rustic properly. i assume it may well be astounding to have a lady or gay president, because it may scale decrease back bigotry, yet it truly isn't any longer a reason to modify your vote, in case you question me.
