intimidating to people? Guys, are you ever afraid that if you went to a nude beach you may end up walking around with a big ol' woody the entire time?

I think they WOULD be a little intimidating, and as such I don't think I would have to worry about the woody issue...

Nude beaches are awesome! I've been going to them for the past 4 years, all through college, and will never wear a bathing suit again! I think that the idea of a nude beach is more intimidating to many people than the actual experience once they get there. The thought of being naked in public in front of many people can be scary for some people, but once you're there and get naked for the first time, that feeling definitely passes within the first few minutes. Then, you forget that you and nearly everyone else is totally naked and just enjoy yourself as you would on a "prude" beach. You'll lie in the sun, walk around, go into the water, play Frisbee...all naked, and you'll have a great time. First time guys frequently get a hard-on, being surounded by so many naked chicks, but as long as they don't flaunt it or play with it, nobody really cares...in fact, it's expected and a natural reaction. Just don't shove it in our faces, guys, or start stroking it and everything will be cool.
Also, no sneaking cameras to try and take some nudie pix...besides being unacceptable behavior, you may end up with the camera inserted into an uncomfortable area of your anatomy! If you want to bring a camera to take pictures of your own group, that's cool...just do it out in the open and don't point it at anyone else. Bare hugs...get naked and enjoy the beach!

they are not intimidating and no a "woody" does not (always)occur-don't be paranoid, nude beaches are not meant to be a sexual playground, they are meant for relaxation...and if a "woody" does occur then it is time to lay on your stomach and not your back, that is what I do.

umm...nahh...don't like being naked infront of people I am not intamite with. I cover myself in the gym and wish more would do the same.
