I dont believe in the death penalty but would like to hear what others think about what the Terrorist GI's that brutally raped and murdered a young girl and her family should get

I belive life in prison without parole and a dishonorable discharge should be enough

Yes and possibly death because it doesn't matter who you hurt and where because it's ILLEGAL anywhere.

Well.....if there guilty that is.

sure they might want to surely be punished to finish volume, in spite of the actual incontrovertible truth that i do not study about the shortcoming of existence penalty. Being lower than "stress" from the conflict isn't any excuse for humiliation, brutality, and taking possibility free lives away. those "squaddies" are giving the U.S. militia and our us of a usually a foul call, and purely fueling the hearth of hate that international places around the international have already got for us. that's the reason the conflict must be stopped, that's eliminating possibility free lives, and for what? From what i will be sure, there is not any valid aspect to this conflict and look at each and each and every of the wear and tear it has led to. we'd want to continually be very ashamed.

If found guilty give them the death penalty, but let's wait until the the trial. Until then presumed innocent. It is interesting how they are convicted in public opinion because they are in the military, but when some thug is accused of murder, and it is obvious, they get the benefit of the doubt.

I too am anti death penalty but i think we need to show the Arab world that we take this very seriously. And they would consider life in prison an easy sentence. Remember their attitude is an eye for an eye. I'm not sure on this one. My heart says no to the death penalty but my intellect says in this case we may have to.

Hum..It's sad..Really..But not much different than Viet-Nam..
I swear that unexcusable, but what I really blame is what been done to those soldier's..They are first brainwashed about terrorism, and Talibans and Iraquis, Some soldier testimoned that they had order's for massacres. For the rape, imagine the hate and what the Iraquis peoples feel now. It's to make em angry, to attack US troop, to have a pretext in front of Senate and public opinion to keep this war on. I swear I'm not propaganding..Follow the money. Halliburton made billions to "reconstrust" and other"s stuff related with war. Lockheed Martin produce weapons for military use. But who is the owner, who make money, look for this and you will have your answer...I know it but I want you to look for it..

First those GI's are criminals, not terrorist, they did not commit the acts of violence as a political movement and therefore can not be considered terrorist. But if they are guilty I think that they should be placed on death row

I think that that is probably one of the most UN-American questions I've ever heard.

1) They have not been tried yet.
2) They have not been sentenced yet.
3) You clearly do not believe in "innocent until proven guilty"
4) You spend your time doing this instead of commenting on the multitude of crimes commited by our enemies.

You have chosen sides. We see you. You have free speech. So do we.

Some of us still call a traitor a traitor.

They should be punished to the maximum allowed by law. This is speaking in a legal sense but me being a parent and having a daughter...Those people do not deserve to live and they should be punished in a much more worse and harsher way because THAT innocent girl did nothing to be punished like that from them.

Yes, if they did indeed do it, I believe that would be a good enough punishment. Of course some of the iraqis wouldn't think that would be enough, but they live in an environment where life is not worth that much, so we shouldn't really care that much if they don't like it.

when found guilty they should receive the death penalty, what kind of monsters murder a five year old child (the age of the victims sister), this was premeditated, why would you want to release someone like that back into society?

If they are FOUND guilty. We do have a presumption of innocence in this country. Of course, if they are found guilty we can just call them insurgents, send them to Guantamano and have you push for their freedom.
