if you chat on msn, is there anyway that the people you'[re chatting w/ can figure out where you're typing them from.......this one guy got all creepy on me and it's freaking me out, and I just wnat to make sure he can't find me. I don't want to press charges or anything so please don't suggest that :P lol HELP ME With answers
I sent him a pic of me (before the creepiness started) and didn't kn ow with sending him stuff from my comp. if it said something like who I am ..my comp. where I'm from....does that make sense? I just don't want this guy to know where I'm from....is there any way he can figure it out if I do NOT disclose my actual place I'm writing from, name, number etc.?

Dont use MSN client, better is to use alternatives like gaim or AMSN they are safe http://gaim.sf.net http://amsn.sf.net

Change your nick name, and stay out of MSN chat. Find another chat place to go if you must chat. This does sound a little bit dangerous.

You are a little unclear as did the person actually let you know that they have information on you but in any event I would say never give out personal information over the Internet you never really know who you are communicating with! Be careful!

Never send anything to people you haven't talked enough to. Chances are he won't go looking for you.
