Yes, Favre is on board for the 2006 season. After that who knows.....It will depend on if the "Pack is truly Back" this season. I say they will struggle big time, especially if they don't show improvement with their offensive line...which really "offensive" last season. Favre got sacked way too many times, and threw too many interceptions.

Do you mean after this season? Because he's already completed 10 of the 14 organized team activities and is due to collect a good deal of his $10 million salary this September.
Last year was difficult, but for the first 8 games his passer rating was in the mid 90s. Then all of the RBs (a primary receiving target in the West Coast Offense) got injured. In addition, his Pro Bowl TE (Bubba Franks) and backups were injured for most/part of the season. Worse than that, the 'star' wideout, Javon Walker was hurt for the entire season.
The Packers lost many, many close games last year. I always laugh at people who don't understand football and listen to ESPN for advice. The Packers won't win the SuperBowl but they'll squeek into the playoffs at 9-7. Favre will continue his consecutive games streak and break a few of Marino's records.
If they have a winning season, Brett will come back.
If they win the SuperBowl or flop again, he'll go back to Mississippi and be playing golf and cutting grass.
GO PACK!
