Obviously I know to vote, which I did when I was old enough to, which was the last election. But we can't wait for him to finish his term. He will ruin our country and our lives. Did you know he passed something called the Real ID Act? Did you know that without this special identification card, you will never be able to hold a job, drive, have a bank account, or travel abroad? Did you know he tacked this onto a bill to request more money for the soldiers, because he wouldn't have passed otherwise? How can you sit idly by and let him do this to us? Next thing he's gonna axe is my religion.

I'm sorry to inform you, but Bush is trying to make where the only religion in that is recognized in this country is Christianity. I am not a Christian, and if Bush is the epitome of a great Christian, I'm glad I'm not one, and I was born in this country, my entire family is from this country. We are all legal, thank you. And you know what, you think I'm "yeller" but at least I have the balls to voice what I believe, whether it's right or wrong, unlike you, and I never threatened him. We as a country have a responsiblity to stand up to him. Unless of course you want to end up in a society that tells you when to eat, and when to take a dump, and what clothes to wear.

No "Master Yoda", I was not informed of this new I.D. act. But I will say I am not completely surprised he would do something like sneak in such an act. I guess we can rest knowing that it is just an I.D. card, that one will carry on their person, and not a permanent "mark" put on our right hand or forehead. Because if I am not mistaken, Christens are suppose to reject such a mark. As for not being able to conduct our daily business without this I.D. card; I guess it is not completely insane, so as long as the government does not later decide to persecute anyone who refuses or otherwise does not have the I.D. card; That would go against my entire being.
As for what to do about it, I'm not sure there is a whole lot that can be done: The machine seems to be unstoppable, as if preordained. I guess we can try to stop it, by voicing our concerns and attempting to educate the public and getting the vote out and calling or writing our congressmen. Something in the air tells me it might not be enough. Yet, one must be careful not to sound off to loud, I would hate to give any reason, to cause, the administration into doing something harsh like declaring a state of marshal law on its citizens. Especialy, after having witnessed, it hardly needs reason at all, to act in this fashion (Iraq war).
If our direction scares you, I assure you, you are not alone. Everything in my bones, tells me to prepare for the worst; in body and mind and yes even soul. Some of the answers you have received, on this question, should give you an idea as to why our government behaves as it does. Who would have thought our population harbors such evil. I'm not sure who is more scary, our own or the so called terrorist.
Are you sure YODA is female, I was told it was a hermaphrodite?

Hey...and did you know that the little men from outer space are actually running this government through a shadow government?
And did you know that Bigfoot is really Osama Bin Laden? He just shaved most of his hair off for a while?
And did you know that Kim Jong Il and the Loch Ness Monster are having a secret affair?
And did you know that the rest of this kind of crap is just as funny as the stuff you're believing? ;-)
Laugh a little, relax a lot and have a great day...not ALL of the conspiracy theories are true and EVERYONE isn't out to get you. :-)
Okay...after reading some of the other answers...I have to say this. People, get a life! If you don't like George W. Bush as President of the United States...January 21, 2009 is less than 2 1/2 years away. He can't run again...he is limited to 2 terms as President. Someone else will be in charge. (No wonder there are so many wackos in the left...they don't learn the important stuff when they are in school. Probably spending too much time rolling doobies and thinking of living in a van, down by the river.)

I have voted every time I could since I was old enough. Along with all the things he's done mentioned on the other answers. He was heard telling a cabinet member that God told him what to do. The cabinet member quit. He thinks he has absolute power that's why he does the things he does and tries ( and succeeds ) in a lot of things people don't even know about. What about the Dubai Ports Deal, eavesdropping on peoples phone calls, going to war in Iraq when the U.N. advised against it, ( he wanted to finish the war his father started there ), Leaks about Valerie Plane because she crossed him. There is just so much that I would be here all day listing stuff. Now war in another part of the Middle East before we get rid of him we will be in World War Three. Someones gonna get nuked. Theres too many of them floatin around, Iran, Israel, Korea and many more. All I have to say is vote Democrat......It might be too late

Don't you realize that the next president no matter if he is a Dem or a Rep, the government is slowly getting us use to, or moving towards the mark of the beast, because even with the real ID act some one will come up with a way to get around it, and still use other peoples identity, the next step will be a mark in the hand or on the forehead. That is the only way they are going to make sure you are who you say you are. So it isn't going to matter which party you belong to we could have a democratic President for the next 20 years we are still going in that direction.

I grow tired of reminding you uneducated nitwits that you would more profitably spend your time studying so as to actually know what fascism is than wasting bandwidth with your illiterate drivel.
Bush may be many things, almost none of which I approve of, but he is certainly not a "fascist."
If he was, then you'd be hanging from a meat hook in some basement prison.
Moreover, anyone who thinks that any president, left or right, liberal or conservative, can "ruin our lives" is too big an idiot to be allowed to vote.
The difference between Republicans and Democrats in this country is minuscule and neither has, in all their history, ever nominated anyone who was more than a small step from dead center or significantly different than his opponent.

Yes dear, sad but true. Relax, breathe, the baby-boomers will be retiring soon and hopefully we will have enough freedom loving', opened minded, peace loving, educated people to turn this kind of ciaos around!
The one thing that really gives me hope for this world is the children that WON'T sit down, shut up & believe what their told! Attagirl YODA!!!
Wake 'em up!
Where you get your news source, depends on how accurate it is. And the media (all to often) is not accurate. Maybe your source...maybe THEIRS! For we know the the media is BIAS!
And those who want to support the creep, will choose a source that hides the real truths from them.
Lastly, you & I both know, that you are probably better educated than more than 1/2 the responses you got.
If he has the power to fix an election, I'm sure he has his way around the other parts of government. You gotta give him credit though,
he's a pretty good cheat, for a "C" average student!!!
Tell it like it is child,
Gotta love Ya!!!
Blessed Be...

Wow, what a outstanding question. I purely realized that bush must be easily smarter than we assume of? If no freedom, then they would not attack us ? lol So bush needs to take the damn problem inflicting freedom away, that is a sensible approach for him, why struggling with them, purely kill their interest in US , no extra freedom !? lol And for unlawful Immigration themes, use the same trick, now why do human beings bypass the borders, $$$ is the answer, so wreck the monetary device and devalue US $, then they run like hell south bond route !? the guy can be a genius ? Regards.

I don't think Bush is a Fascist. If you've read It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis, you know what I mean. Yes, this country is a different place than it used to be. (Read some John Quincy Adams quotes, and you will see what I mean.) Yet, it really isn't so bad here as everyone pretends it is. America is a country of whiners; we know no suffering.

Yes, Bush is a fascist. He wants to be king and have the congress, the courts, and the American people trust his faulty judgment on EVERYTHING. There is no doubt he is the worst president this country has ever had, and I sincerely hope enough intelligent voters will reverse his rule, starting in the congressional elections this year.

Bush is not a Fascist nor is he a great leader.
Your question and first answer are both sophomoric.
The lies the Bush administration used to lead the country into war
are unforgivable. Now Bush has requested that his presidential papers and the vice presidential papers are NEVER MADE PUBLIC.
