Maybe I am wrong in my initial assessment. It appears that your question relates to making a choice... . Been there done that. When both elements are entwined that is perfection, however, if you like the little things it could turn out be the start of emotional growth which could become love. One thing can become boring especially if that is the only thing you are giving that person credit for. No one can give an answer to your lust or your heart or soulful curiosities. Because something is right for you does not make it right for those who love you.

Since you are asking these questions I assume you are not old enough to decide to do either. Loving others is unique for every person. Everyone has different reasons for liking and loving another. Different people will see the same person in a slightly different light. The answer to your question will come in time. You seem to be rushing into deciding if you like or love someone. When the situation and time is right you will know the answer yourself.

Some would argue that the little things are what makes us unique so loving someone for all the little crazy or funny or weird things they do is in essence loving that person as an individual. Better than loving someone for only one thing.

You should love someone for a lot of little things. That way you recieve joy from them for many different reasons. If you only love one thing about them, there may be other parts of their personality you find out you don't like.

Like is much more important than love. You cannot be happy in a relationship with someone you love if you don't like them.

Love is in the details. It's about the little things that make them special. You can love big things about them too (i.e. I love that my bf's kind) but that's not what'll keep you in love and together.

Liking them for the little things, because if you love them for one thing and it goes away, you won't like them, or love them.

Love is loving someone for all of them, good and bad. No one is perfect.
