Since the moon's gravity causes the tides, that would mean that the ocean would be higher than it is before in the coastal lines from around the world. I don't even think there would be many sandy beaches left. Also, the full moon would look more attractive and there would be more coyotes howling at it during the night.

I think that some scientist would say, "Holy freakin' crap the moon is 10 miles closer all of a sudden. Get the president on the phone!" Other than that not much.

well 10 miles im not sure it would make any difference maybe just to the size but nothing more...well i think any way.
