The only thing he did wrong was lose. History is written by the victors.

I wonder at questions like these. Is it an obvious and sick attempt at arousing rage from people, or is it an actual plea for philosophical discussion of morals and the impact on history? I take it to mean the latter. However, I will answer your question in the most objective way I can.

Hitler was wrong in the eyes of today's society because he believed in a superior race, while our society is based upon the belief that there is no such race. Not only did he believe in and support that Aryan race, he murdered others to guarantee that the Aryan race would dominate. Hitler was wrong because we (including myself) find descrimination, prejudice, genocide, and torture wrong.

You, however, are free to believe whatever you wish.

I know I should be kicked for answering you, but I will take that chance. How DARE you say something like that!! Did you nod off in history class? Were you dropped on your head as an infant?! Hitler was an evil man who killed millions of men, women, and children because he wanted to create a "master race". There is only one race, dearie, and that's the HUMAN race. And what did Hitler do? He committed suicide, just like the coward that he was. Next time you have an opinion like that, keep it to yourself. Because the majority of us on Yahoo Answers think that your question is vile, cruel, and irrepressible! Shame on you!

Hitler was wrong for a few reasons.

First, genocide. Murder is never right, especially on that scale.

Second, racism and religious persecution. Need I say more on that front?

Number three is more of an ethical issue. Is it right for one person to believe they can rule the world? Is it right to try? No. One person simply cannot have so much unbalanced power. That is why dictatorships are corrupt. Giving the world to one individual infinitesimal human is borne to disaster.

Does "The Final Solution" ring any bells. Other than the genocide of millions of Jews, Russians, Poles, Slavs, and all "undesirable races," Hitler is still evil.

P.S. Hitler had the characteristics of the "undesirable races," and was 1/4 Jewish.

Hitler was wrong that he thought the germans were the superior race, He couldnt stand anyone who was disabled or weak according to his standards. So he thought he was the Messiah and was going to purefy the race of people. Only blue eyed and blonde were acceptable to him

Have you been paying attention in history class? The guy killed millions of innocent people! He also started a war with France, Czechoslovakia, Poland, the UK, and the U.S!

The only good thing was that he got Germany out of the depression. Other than that, he was a scumbag.

I suggest you remove this question for your own safety. Just so you know, Hitler was a crazy, power-crazy Nazi who deserved so much worse than he got. He killed millions of innocent people because of his paranoi and if you cannot see what is wrong with that, I suggest you enter yourself into a mental facility because you are just as crazy as he is.

he was wrong because he allowed his love of his own culture and people to lead him to the conclusion that they were better than other peoples and culture. so much better that those other cultures couldn't really be human, and were less than human.

in wrongly believing other humans to be less than human, he became able to kill them without conscience. and he did so.

if you agree with him that germans are the only humans and are better than everybody else such that they have the right to dominate non-germans to the point of extermination, then you won't have a problem with him.

but there is no evidence to support that position. personally, i think that any culture whose grammar forces them to put the verb at the end of a sentence is fatally flawed. (i mean really! get to the bloody point already!)

on the other hand, if you believe that all people are children of God and are created equal, in his image and have the right to life and liberty, then he was certainly wrong to deprive the 12 million people killed in the holocaust of those rights.

He was Wrong because he considered his own race as the master race which should solely rule this planet and because he had no respect for life. he would have gone on killing half the worlds population if he had not been stopped. the war that he caused devastated world economy for 50 years and introduced nuclear weapons which stand on the brink of destroying civilization as we know it.
